Despite the cut off date being a month a way, booking has been brisk with many new companies not previously represented at previous AWIB events.
While there is a lot of curiosity about our Ladies Only meetings, AWIB has a reputation for organising successful, value for money events. It is not only our members who have benefited; the interest in the Big Network – which initially started as a smaller affair hosted by AWIB at the Guildhall back in 2013 and again in 2014 – is now a hugely successful, collaborative event at The Lights, with Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, Andover Town Centre Partnership, Andover Mutual Business Group and Test Valley Borough Council combining forces and resources to bring a premier business showcase event for businesses across the Test Valley and beyond.
A big draw to the Co-Ed dinner will be the prizes – the chance to win one of two free exhibitor spaces with delegate at the 2016 Big Network. We have a brilliant guest speaker, John Coulson, Executive Partnership Development Manager of St James’s Place Wealth Management. He will highlight some key points in financial planning and relevant legislation for businesses.
SJP is a highly respected and hugely successful FTSE100 company and one of the UK’s leading wealth management organisations, with £58.6 billion funds under management.
They have won numerous awards:
Of course, the opportunity to connect with business people and decision makers is the great advantage of a networking event; to make the most of the evening, there will be casual networking before dinner, which is the usual format for “Awibbers”. However, we will be changing places between courses to ensure that guests have an opportunity to chat to as many people as possible and we will also move around and network casually after our speaker’s presentation.
All this in the fabulous venue of The Museum of Army Flying, with a welcome drink and a 2 course dinner, followed by coffee for only £15! This is an incredible value for money event with fantastic opportunities to network and gather information over a delicious meal.
Business men and women, charities, training institutions and other organisations, as well as anyone thinking about starting a new business, will benefit by attending.
