An open evening for Networking was
the theme of the evening, with several members displaying their goods
and services as an opportunity for others to learn more about what their
businesses have to offer.
Members at the Cherished
China Table
Following a very tasty ‘barbeque’, six
of the Club’s members had the opportunity to speak about their
businesses in greater depth and anecdotes were amusing and colourful.
Members who took part in the Networking talks were Brenda Locke, of
Datacounts; Jill Ricketts, who spoke about Gossamer Designs and Ying
Li accessories; Mandy Hobson of Cherished China; Ann Edwards of Edwards
Southern Catering; Karen Hopwood, of A-One Au Pairs & Nannies and
Kate King of B B Training & Consultancy.
The insight into fellow members’ business
lives was popular with the audience, who learned how businesses had
flourished and grown since their small beginnings.
