March 2010 - March Networking Meeting

For their first Networking meeting of the year the Andover Women in Business Club met at the Keystone Hall on Tuesday 3rd March. For the first time as the members arrived they were serenaded by one of the members, Anna Sadlowska as she played a selection of classical music on her violin. There were several tables displaying the products and services provided by members which provoked considerable interest. As usual an excellent meal was provided as Ladies networked at their tables prior to the three main speakers of the evening.

First was Kerrie Morley, a Natural Health Care practitioner. Kerrie is a friendly, caring Registered Practitioner who uses simple non-invasive techniques in a relaxing environment to help you feel better. She asked us “Do you feel tired, overworked, stressed or depressed? Do you have aches and pains that are getting you down? Would you like to feel more confident about yourself? Do you regularly get infections or feel run-down? Are addictions, fears or phobias ruining your life?” Kerrie then went on to demonstrate – with the aid of AWIBC Member just how simple these techniques and solutions can be. After a call to the audience Kerrie then went on to remove some foot pain for another member. There were several questions from the floor and by the end of her presentation we all felt much more aware of the advantages of this type of healthcare.

Next was Larch Gauld a member who wears two hats! Firstly Larch offers bespoke websites for businesses and individuals. Several of our members have already used her services in this connection. Secondly, Larch runs a business offering a delightful range of decorative items for the house and garden including wreaths, swags, hearts, seashore items and lots more.

Lastly, Stephanie Lovejoy told us about her career as a Car Paint sprayer and how this activity evolved into running a Bath Resurfacing and Repair Service. An unusual and interesting activity which prompted several questions from the floor.

Each speaker was presented with a bottle of wine and the evening concluded with more opportunities to browse the displays and network among the members. The next meeting is to be held 6th April.
