Our last meeting was held at the White Hart in Andover and I was very pleased to see that we had an excellent turnout of interesting and lively ladies, from members to new guests.
AWIB is growing, and our venue the White Hart served us well with its large function room and the very helpful and efficient staff. Gail Morris, the manager, made us very welcome. I found my food was served piping hot, was delicious and everything was laid out
nicely for us on our arrival.
We had a pleasant evening networking, and discussing the joint networking event planned for the June meeting. There was also talk regarding some of the successful fund raising events that were held by AWIBC many years back; ideas were mulled over to support local charities in the future. It was interesting to have a combination of past, present and future ideas considered.
Some potentially useful seeds of thought were planted and we had some fun doing it. AWIBC is still evolving, and like the tadpoles in my pond which are currently thriving, we will metamorphose into something that is right for the current business climate, and that is perfect for our members.
